K9 Major Awarded

Roseville K-9 Major, was awarded the Medal of Valor. The award is given to officers for their continued application to duty after being injured. Major worked with Police Officer John Jorgensen. In November 2010, Major was stabbed several times while he searched for theft suspects. Injuries included a collapsed lung and damage to his spinal cord, resulting in the loss of use in his hind legs.
