A new season of Southland comes out on January 4th on TNT. Who's gonna watch?

I will be and I'm hoping that this season, they'll at least work with a K-9 unit on the show. It's LAPD, they do have K-9s, who're definitely the unsung heroes of law enforcement.

The show is already awesome without K-9's. It would be amazing if they added K-9's to it. K-9's are forgotten by the news, but not to the officers that work with them.

It is an awesome show. I'd just like to see something involving a K-9 unit, since they're also an important part of police work. It would've been great to have had a K-9 unit helping Sammy and Nate (yes, I know all the characters' names, sue me) catch the guy running with the chicken. That's one of the funniest scenes in any drama I've ever seen. Then again, maybe if a K-9 had involved, it wouldn't have ended so happily for the chicken.

As I understand it, Ben McKenzie and Shawn Hatosy pride themselves on being exceptional runners and we know that with a K-9 presence, a lot of crooks don't run 'cause they know they're going to get caught. Perhaps the actors don't want a scene stolen by a dog. LOL

Man, I'd love to see those two guys race a good K-9 from LAPD.

I would like to see a k-9 take criminals down, but since its not part of the show, they leave them out and they help officers worldwide. They just get left out like normal.

Actually, there is K-9 presence on the show. It's in Season 1, Episode 4. They release the K-9 on the suspect when he runs from the police.
